Friends for over 15 years, we set out to create Hanksville Grills based on our shared love for cooking, the outdoors and the great state of Vermont.
As a professional chef and owner of an award-winning catering company in Vermont, Luke has been cooking over wood-fired, steel grills for over 10 years. Roasting slow-fired whole lambs, grilling vegetables sourced right from farmers in our community, cooking 3 foot pans of paella — he’s experienced it all and all over open flames.
This traditional and immersive cooking experience delivers bold flavors and versatility to every meal whether you’re searing, roasting or braising. We’ve been able to transform the very grills Luke has been cooking on for over a decade, into an approachable, backyard grill that doubles as a fire pit.
Made of 100% American steel, our grills are designed in Vermont and manufactured right over the border in Montreal. Our grills are durable and built to last, leaving maintenance to a minimum and the focus on the food and fire for everyday use.
We encourage you to take it slow, kick back and really settle into the cooking experience. Our favorite memories around these grills have been the unexpected, late nights of shared meals turned to shared stories around the fire pit.
